The 3 keys to get successful photograph

Every photo must have a subject or subject. My own opinion is that if the subject is pretty, canvas prints the photo won't be too far off (subject 35 + weather 15 = 50 is qualified). Of course, great techniques can make the subject stand out and turn an ordinary photo into a beautiful one (50-> 75).

Like this portrait, the location is lingnan wind, with a Chinese taste, canvas floating frame with the heroine's sense of fashion seems to be out of place, and the weather is not very good grey secretly. At that time, I was thinking, such a beautiful girl is the best material. In order to highlight this merit, I excluded all other unnecessary things from the picture, and only kept the single most important element -- the heroine, so that I could take a close-up of her. I'm not a sugar water type, but as long as the main character is pretty, a simple head shot can be pretty.

There may be readers will feel dissatisfied, canvas picture prints to have a beautiful subject to take a beautiful photo, that is not the subject (beauty) prerequisite, the subject is not beautiful cannot take photos? In fact, the unique aesthetic lies in the fact that each person is different from the principle of beauty and has his own set of aesthetic standards. And I am a big believer that there is a beautiful side to everything. The difference is whether you can see it or not. For example, in the movie American Beauty, there is a plot that I like very much: even a plastic garbage bag can be beautiful if you know how to appreciate it. In the world of photography, looking for the beautiful side of things is a kind of photographic eye.

About 25% of the skills and equipment, what is the ratio? The answer is 20% skill, 5% equipment. I think all the time, no matter what equipment is used, can take beautiful photograph equally, just use which brand type oneself is happier just respectively. Of course, some subjects have higher requirements on equipment (such as sports/ecology), but it does not mean that entry-level equipment cannot be used, just need higher skills to supplement; The advantage of advanced equipment is increased ease of use and success rate, and the photo is always beautiful depends on the skill. This 5% is used to indicate whether the equipment is suitable for you and can be used easily, rather than to represent the level of the equipment (to talk about advanced equipment, can go very high, far away, such as Hasellblad, Leica, Alpa, and other large and medium equipment, is really out of the world, to the injury of money). So, whether this world really has buy machine to send a technology this thing, my answer is negative. Having said that, I have no objection to the pursuit of equipment, because I also like to play with equipment, it is an interest, and the pursuit of skills is two different categories, at the same time can be complementary. The equipment on the hand has become so skilled that it becomes part of the photographer's body. Shooting is as natural as breathing.

The 3 keys to get successful photograph

Assuming full marks for geographical location and people, plus 15 points for weather (35+ 25 + 15 = 75), it's a pretty good picture. So, how to divide the photograph that did well with saw a person "WOW" wonderful work? The answer is the weather. There are two aspects to this: lighting (20%) and decisive moments (20%). Photography is not so much capturing the subject, but rather capturing the light hitting the subject. For what we see is light, and without it we see nothing. Light, on the other hand, varies with time and weather, producing different intensity, Angle and temperature (color temperature), which affects the shooting effect. The difficulty with lighting is that these changes are beyond our control, and we can only accept and adapt (with the exception of artificial lighting). I believe that we have had similar experience, travel to the beautiful spots, but met with rain, not to take the desired photos and feel disappointed? In addition, sometimes it takes a lot of effort to find the beautiful light. For example, the galaxy photo of Will Cho is impossible to see in the downtown area where the light pollution is serious. It can only be seen in the suburbs such as dongba and sunset peak. (I want to film the galaxy, but I can't leave my wife and son behind.)

As for the decisive moment, it is the most difficult of all. Most of the time, the wonderful moment, the moment is gone, missed then no chance to shoot. Many classic works in the history of photography are capturing the decisive moment. Although I am just a photography lover and don't have masters to capture the touch of the moment, I am here to share an unforgettable experience. We took part in the photo tour of the hotel. We started out in the morning and arrived at the first scenic spot, mei ma niu primary school. Then we went to another famous scenic spot Christmas tree, the sky is still similar, although a little regret, but can enjoy the Hokkaido winter scenery, we feel very satisfied. At that moment, something amazing happened. The weather began to clear up, the gray disappeared and the blue began to show. The clouds were still there, but they had changed from grey to white. Before our eyes, a most beautiful picture appeared. The sky, like the snow, was pure white in the soft light. And the Christmas tree lies on the canvas, perfectly framed. We feel the quiet harmony, while marveling at the uncanny workmanship of nature. This photo, large canvas for me, is rare, I do not know if there is a chance to see such scenery again, to take such a photo.
