Description
Turn One Favourite Photo into a Striking Staggered Triptych
Create an impressive wall display from one photograph with our custom Staggered Triptych Canvas Prints. Your image is carefully divided across three portrait canvas panels, featuring a taller centre panel and two matching shorter side panels. The balanced staggered layout adds depth and visual movement to landscape photography, wedding portraits, family memories, travel photos and panoramic scenes. It is an eye-catching choice for living rooms, bedrooms, dining spaces, offices and feature walls.
Custom Designed
Each photograph is individually positioned across the three panels to create a natural and visually balanced composition.
Four Display Sizes
Choose from four carefully proportioned configurations for bedrooms, living rooms and large feature walls.
Preview Before Printing
Our designer prepares the panel layout so that you can review the crop and image positioning before production.
Ready to Hang
Each canvas panel is professionally printed, stretched and finished as an individual ready-to-hang piece.

One Photograph, Carefully Designed Across Three Panels
You only need to provide one photograph. Our designer will prepare the image as a continuous three-panel composition, with the taller section placed in the centre and two matching shorter sections positioned on either side.
The crop, panel divisions and overall balance are reviewed carefully so that important faces, text and small details are kept away from the gaps wherever possible.
A Contemporary Alternative to a Standard Triptych
A traditional triptych normally uses three panels of equal height. This staggered version uses three panels of equal width, with a taller centre canvas and two shorter matching side canvases vertically centred alongside it.
Equal Panel Widths
All three panels have the same width, creating a consistent visual rhythm across the complete wall display.
Taller Centre Panel
The centre canvas extends above and below the side panels, naturally drawing attention towards the middle of the photograph.
Symmetrical Arrangement
The two shorter side panels are identical in size and aligned with the vertical centre of the middle panel.
Staggered Triptych Canvas Size Guide
Each option includes two matching side panels and one taller centre panel. All measurements are shown as width × height and refer to each individual canvas.
The approximate overall display width includes a recommended 3 cm space between each canvas. You may reduce or increase the spacing slightly to suit your wall.

| Size | Left Panel | Centre Panel | Right Panel | Approx. Display Area |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 30 × 45 cm | 30 × 60 cm | 30 × 45 cm | Approx. 96 × 60 cm |
| Medium | 40 × 60 cm | 40 × 80 cm | 40 × 60 cm | Approx. 126 × 80 cm |
| Large | 50 × 75 cm | 50 × 100 cm | 50 × 75 cm | Approx. 156 × 100 cm |
| X Large | 60 × 90 cm | 60 × 120 cm | 60 × 90 cm | Approx. 186 × 120 cm |
Approximate overall dimensions are calculated using a 3 cm gap between each panel.

What Types of Photos Work Best?
Wide photographs generally provide the best results because the image needs to extend naturally across all three portrait canvas panels.
Landscape Photography
Beaches, oceans, mountain ranges, forests, countryside scenes and panoramic travel photographs work particularly well.
Wedding and Family Photos
Choose an image with enough space around the people so that faces and important details can remain away from panel divisions.
Architecture and Artwork
City skylines, bridges, architectural scenes, abstract designs and decorative artwork can create a dramatic feature wall.

Review the Layout
Our designer positions the image across the three panels and prepares a preview when required. Production begins after the layout has been confirmed.
Professionally Printed and Finished
Each panel is produced as an individual canvas while maintaining consistent colour, detail and visual continuity across the complete three-piece artwork.
Premium Printed Canvas
Your image is printed on quality semi-gloss polyester and cotton canvas with detailed colour reproduction and a professional decorative finish.
Timber Stretcher Frames
Each canvas is carefully stretched over an individual timber stretcher frame to create a firm and clean gallery-style presentation.
Ready for Indoor Display
The canvas surface is water-resistant and UV-resistant for long-lasting indoor display. Outdoor colour durability is not guaranteed.
Choose Your Canvas Edge Style
The treatment applied to the sides of each canvas can change the overall appearance of the finished three-panel display.
Gallery Wrap
The photograph continues around the sides of each frame, creating an immersive appearance while using part of the image around the outer edges.
Mirror Wrap
The outer areas of the photograph are mirrored onto the sides, helping to preserve more of the original image on the front of each canvas.
Colour Wrap
A solid colour is applied to the canvas edges. Black and white are popular choices for creating a clean and defined finish.
How to Hang Your Staggered Triptych Canvas
Install the taller centre panel first, then position the two shorter side panels at the same vertical height and with equal spacing on both sides.
Mark the Centre
Find the horizontal centre of the available wall area and mark the preferred height.
Hang the Centre Panel
Install the taller centre canvas first and check that it is straight before continuing.
