Measure Your 8x10 Canvas Before Choosing the Frame
An 8x10 label is a useful starting point. The order still needs the actual outside dimensions and the thickness of the canvas you want to frame.
Measure Outside Width x Height
Measure the stretched canvas from its outside edges, excluding any separate decorative frame. Enter the result in Exact Size of Your Existing Canvas (in cm):. Write width first, followed by height, and keep your measured decimals.
Measure Canvas Thickness
Measure the depth from front to back at the side of the stretched canvas. Use Depth (Thickness) of Your Existing Canvas: to select 2cm, 3cm or 4cm. If the measurement falls between these choices, confirm the fit with us first.

Get Measurements From the Owner
If the canvas belongs to someone else, ask for its measured outside width, height and thickness. A front photograph or an 8x10 label can help identify the artwork, but neither supplies all the measurements needed for the frame.
Choose a Finish With Their Artwork in Mind
Compare the available finish images with the colours around the canvas’s edges. Their existing frames or furnishings can also guide the choice. Asking which finish they prefer can be more useful than guessing from the room’s wall colour.
